Given the somewhat depressing news that has come out of the UK in recent years, it was refreshing and reassuring to meet Team GB’s Modern Pentathlon squad and rub shoulders with world class athletes! This Summer they were in France to familiarise themselves with the training facilities in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, which will serve as their all-important base in the week prior to this Olympic event in Versailles.
